How do the Tube delay email alerts work?

Choose your London Underground and London Overground lines, set the time windows you care about, and enter your email address. You will receive email alerts during your selected windows when there are delays, suspensions, or other disruptions on your chosen lines.

Can I choose which disruption severities trigger an alert?

Yes. You can include or exclude specific disruption severities, such as Severe Delays, Minor Delays, Suspended, Part Suspended, Reduced Service, and Part Closure.

Can I add multiple time windows for alerts?

Yes. You can add extra time windows, for example, a morning commute window and an evening commute window.

Can I get notified when a line returns to good service?

Yes. You can turn on recovery notifications to receive an email when your chosen line returns to good service.

Can I filter alerts to just my section of a line?

Yes. Route filtering lets you set a from and to station on each line. You will only be alerted about disruptions affecting your section.

Can I get alerts for planned closures and engineering works?

Yes. Enable planned closure alerts to be notified about upcoming weekend closures and engineering works on your lines. These are route-aware if you have a route filter set.

Can I receive push notifications instead of email?

Yes. You can enable push notifications via the web app. You can use email, push, or both.

Is this affiliated with TfL?

No. London Underground Alerter is not affiliated with TfL. It uses TfL Open Data to provide email alerts.
