Bank Information
BANK AND MONUMENT STATIONS: From Monday 20 October 2025 until early 2027. Replacement of escalators 4 and 5. These connect the Northern line platforms with the District and Circle line platforms. While this work takes place, the walking route between these platforms will be closed. Please allow a little longer for your journey and follow the signs, which will direct you via an alternative walking route. Depending on your journey, this route may be via street level. To pay the correct fare, just touch out as you exit and touch back in again, as you re-enter.
Elephant & Castle Information
Elephant & Castle: No Step Free Access - Step free access is not available to the southbound Northern line due to planned maintenance. Call us on 0343 222 1234 if you need help planning your journey.
Embankment Information
EMBANKMENT STATION: Until spring 2027, there will be a reduced escalator service with alternative routes to the Bakerloo and Northern line platforms, please allow extra time.
London Bridge Interchange Message
London Bridge: Reduced escalator service. There is no down escalator from the Borough High Street entrance to the Jubilee platforms.
Morden Information
Morden: No Step Free Access - Step free exit to street level from platforms 2 and 3 is not available due to a faulty lift. Call us on 0343 222 1234 if you need help planning your journey.
Oval Interchange Message
OVAL STATION: Until mid December, Oval station will operate with an 'up' escalator service only, while planned maintenance takes place on one escalator. Please take care when using the spiral staircase, which has 80 steps. Alternatively, use local buses to nearby stations. Stockwell: Bus 155, from stop R on Kennington Park Road, Vauxhall: Bus 36 185 or 436, from stop D on Harleyford Street
